The Green Kingdom's album "Environs" was inspired by Japanese ambient music and Kankyo Ongaku (environmental music), as well as memories of science museums. Each track title suggests real or imaginary places related to these inspirations. The layers of electronic sounds and acoustic sonic imagery evoke a sense of nostalgia in the listener.
The album's cover design was created by Japanese copperplate artist Miwa Usui. Additionally, a special edition of 20 vinyl records will be available, featuring hand-pressed prints on the sleeves.
